Project Holiday is coordinated by Yarmouth Cares about Neighbors (YCAN) with support
from Yarmouth Community Services (YCS), the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry, and the Lions Club. The goal of this program is to foster the spirit of holiday giving within the Yarmouth community by connecting anonymous donors with local families who confidentially seek assistance. Yarmouth’s Project Holiday has delivered hundreds of smiles to deserving families for decades, and once again, the applications will launch the program for 2025.

Project Holiday seeks families who would like some help putting gifts under the tree for children from babies to 18 years old. Those served by this program must be Yarmouth residents.
Applications are available to be downloaded from this site. Simply click here. Additionally, applications will be distributed through the Yarmouth schools too. Through this application process, families will submit a wish list for their child or children. Applications must be returned by November 5, 2025 to be considered for this year.
Project Holiday recruits sponsors who purchase gifts for the families who apply. Sponsors are often businesses, school groups, non-profit groups, civic organizations and/or individual families or people. Project Holiday has a list of wonderful sponsors already, but if you are interested in sponsoring a family, feel free to email ph@ycan.info. If we have enough sponsors, we are always looking for help with supplying gift cards and wrapping paper for families too.
