Need Food Support?
Yarmouth Community Food Pantry

The Yarmouth Community Food Pantry offers food and personal items to families from Yarmouth who qualify based upon income. The Yarmouth Community Food Pantry's mission is to serve the needs of people facing food insecurity in Yarmouth with healthy food, supplies, privacy and compassion. The food pantry is open twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am to noon, and patrons are invited to visit once a week, choosing either of those days.
Please note: The food pantry will close for weather-related snow days. If schools are closed due to weather, the pantry will be closed too. The pantry is open, however, during school vacations. The pantry is also closed during the Yarmouth Clam Festival.
Those unable to visit the food pantry may request deliveries and will be granted access to the delivery program ONLY if drivers are available. The Yarmouth Community Food Pantry is an all-volunteer program, operated by more than 50 volunteers.
Access and parking for the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry is behind the First Parish Church (116 Main Street, Yarmouth, ME) on Storer Street.

Additional Programs
Yarmouth Meals on Wheels
Operated by Southern Maine Agency on aging, Volunteers and staff deliver up to five meals to each program participant on Tuesdays or Thursdays and generally arrive between 10:30am-12:30pm. Meals are delivered frozen.
Entrées generally feature a protein main dish, a side dish, and a vegetable. The meals are also served with a small loaf of bread. Clients can also receive one quart of milk per week.
There is no income eligibility requirement for Meals on Wheels. We recommend a $3.50 per meal donation in order to keep the program going. However, donations of all sizes are welcome and no one will ever be turned away if unable to contribute at the selected rate.

Food Insecurity Supplement Program
In an effort to assist community members experiencing food insecurity, YCAN's Food Insecurity Supplement Program regularly purchases food staples along with dish and laundry detergents for the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry. The Food Insecurity Supplement Program also works with others in the community, including SMAA (Southern Maine Agency on Aging) and the Yarmouth schools, to provide grocery gift cards for those they serve, as needed.
