YCAN to partner with the Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag Program

We are excited to share that the Yarmouth Hannaford has selected YCAN to benefit from the Fight Hunger Bag Program throughout June, 2026. The Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag Program makes it easy for shoppers to contribute to the Yarmouth community and help YCAN support the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry.

Every time a $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag is purchased at the Hannaford located in Yarmouth Hannaford in June, $1 will be donated to YCAN. This is a great way to broaden awareness of YCAN’s  programs, help meet the needs of Yarmouth residents and help foster resilience and hope.  In addition, your reusable bag offers an eco-friendly way to carry groceries home too.

While the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry is YCAN’s largest program, funds donated to YCAN also benefit their other programs including Aging in Place, The Rides Program, Project Holiday, Operation Bundle Up, Emergency and Acute grants programs, the Yarmouth Home Heating Assistance Program, and other community needs.
